For more than 40 years, SRC inc. has been solving some of the world’s toughest technical challenges to help keep those protecting the USA, safe. As a not-for-profit organisation, their focus is on solutions, and not the bottom line. SRC inc has now become international, with the aim of bringing the same ethos to it’s allies. In 2019, SRC UK was born.
SRC UK specialises in Operational Support of the UK defence community via Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) analysis and engineering. Our engineers assist the programming of current and next generation electronic detection and protection systems; test the performance of these systems with live, virtual and constructive recreations of tactical environments, and train personnel on tactics for countering real world threats. Working directly with military and industry partners, and our own multi-national SRC family, you will help SRC UK continue to solve the challenging issues of next generation mission data development.
Your responsibilities may include conducting all-source intelligence research and engineering analysis in order to characterise non-communications radar system performance and capabilities. This includes the analysis of ground, naval and airborne radar, Electro-optic and Infra-Red systems and developing radar models to support the UK and its allies. The position will also require the support of the operational user community to analyse mission data feedback reports and solve IMD issues.
Just because you have left education, doesn’t mean progression in education isn’t in your future.
As part of our graduate programme, on arrival with us you will complete an in house training package; this will be followed over the next 2 years by on-the-job training, possibly over a number of positions. All of this will not only enable you to fulfil your role with us, but SRC UK and the University of Lincoln are working together to accredit this work enabling a fast track towards an MSc in Intelligence Analytics – the remainder of which can be completed (with potential company funded assistance) by ourselves.
We don’t offer a job – we offer a gateway to the world of Intelligent Defence.
Your role with us is not just about a job; with opportunity for international travel with our sister companies, superb training facilities plus a great incentive package including health programmes and a generous employer pension contribution, we offer a competitive package.
With great opportunities to progress in career and renumeration based on performance objectives, plus the challenges of supporting the defence community, we’re sure that if you choose to start a career with us, you’ll be able to truly stand behind the work we do.
